Slow Progress

Researching your family history takes a long time. The hardest part is making sure you have the correct person. I found a census that showed a M L Mount living in a boarding house in New York that was the same age as my great-great-grandmother, Mariah Louise Mount, would have been during that census year. It could be my great-great-grandmother, but I'm not sure. Her family did originate from New York although Mariah was born in Iowa and lived in Kansas. I'm not sure what to make of that census. She could have moved back to New York but that doesn't seem likely to me. I just wish I knew for sure. I saved the census under Mariah but I'm not positive and may remove it.
